Consultation Rates
Consultations are at the discretion of Math Woes and may be suggested prior to scheduling or starting tutoring sessions.
Consultations last approximately 45 minutes (30 minutes with scholar + 15 minutes with parent) and are $20. If Math Woes continues with next steps, this $20 will be deducted from the 1st session.

Individual Face to Face Tutoring Rates
MONTHLY PAYMENT IS DUE AT EACH MONTHLY SESSION. If absent, you are still responsible for the month. A detailed payment plan will be given before our first session.
ANNUAL (entire school year) PAYMENT is due your first session.
Please note: Each week is a 1 hour session. If we are working on a 4 week month, that equals 4 sessions,
First month is a trial month to determine if family and tutor are good fits!!
Difference between sessions and homework help:
session = 1 hour face to face tutorial per week
homework help = may be virtual or face to face; assistance solely related to school issued assignments
GREEK SESSIONS (CASH or ZELLE ONLY!!!)
Offered during the school year AND summer.
A) 4 sessions per month = $220 per month
B) 8 sessions per month= $440 per month
C) Entire School Year (Sept-May) Payment Upfront - 4 sessions per month for all 9 months = $2200 per school year
D) Entire School Year (Sept-May) Payment Upfront - 8 sessions per month for all 9 months = $4400 per school year
EGYPTIAN SESSIONS (CASH or ZELLE ONLY!!!)
Only offered during the school year.
A) 4 sessions + 4 spot checks* per month = $230 per month
B) 8 sessions + 8 spot checks* per month = $460 per month
C) Entire School Year (Sept-May) Payment Upfront - 4 sessions + 4 spot checks* per month/9 months = $2300 per school year
D) Entire School Year (Sept-May) Payment Upfront - 8 sessions + 8 spot checks* per month/9 months (entire school year Sept-May) = $4600 per school year
MAYAN SESSIONS (CASH or ZELLE ONLY!!!)

A) 4 sessions + 8 spot checks* per month = $240 per month
B) 8 sessions + 16 spot checks* per month = $480 per month
C) Entire School Year (Sept-May) Payment Upfront - 4 sessions + 8 spot checks* per month/9 months = $2400 per school year
D) Entire School Year (Sept-May) Payment Upfront - 8 sessions + 16 spot checks* per month/9 months = $4800 per school year
*Spot Checks with the sessions above are up to 15 min long.
HOMEWORK HELP (CASH or ZELLE ONLY!!!)
A) 4 face to face homework helps per month = $200 per month
B) 8 face to face homework helps per month = $400 per month
What are SPOT CHECKS?
Spot Checks are for current tutees. They are quick check-ins and are given via video chat or regular phone conversation, whichever is most convenient for both tutor and tutee. If an assignment is given in class (or tutoring session) and you get home and realize you've tried EVERYTHING (your notes, call to teacher/peer, videos, textbook, productive struggle, etc.) with NO success. It's not your scheduled tutoring day but SHORT assistance is needed.

Spot checks ARE NOT built in for Greek A & B.
Spot Checks payments are made through CASH or ZELLE.
*Requested spot-checks (up to 30 min) = $15 per spot check
Spot checks ARE built in for Mayan or Egyptian A & B and can last up to 30 min.

Option A: Video list per unit created and shared electronically or virtually. This will include a timeline for completion. *$15 per unit
Option B: Quick homework help/feedback electronically or virtually; (up to 30 min; a schedule will be given) *$20 per homework check
